We all know about ripping your CDs using Loss-less/higher bit-rates, but what next?

1. Better phones/earbuds: I use Sennheiser PX200s for work and Sennheiser HD600s at home.
2. Make a custom cable that uses the bottom dock-connector to bypass the internal amp. This is the 'Line-out' which needs amplifiying.
3. Build yourself an amplifier, mine is based on a design by Richard J Murdey, the ‘Headclone’ which uses a dual op-amp powered from a 9V battery. I designed the circuit in a program called 'Eagle' which i then etched and drilled. The result wasn’t bad and everything soldered up ok, although cramming it all into the case was a bit scary as the battery takes up most of the room.
